Jane Hirshfield is the author of nine collections of poetry, including, most recently, A Kerosene Beauty: Twelve Environmental Elegiacs. Other books include: The Beauty (longlisted for the National Book Award ) and Come, ThiefAfter (shortlisted for England’s T.S. Eliot Prize and named a “best book of 2006” by the Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the London Financial Times). Jane is the author of two books of essays and has edited and co-translated four books containing the work of poets from the past.

Poet Laureate of Sacramento, Indigo Moor is also a scriptwriter and author. As with his first collection, Tap-Root, Indigo’s 2017 release, In the Room of Thirsts & Hungers, is an Editor’s Select choice from Main Street Rag. Through the Stonecutter’s Window, won Northwestern University Press’s Cave Canem prize. Three of his short plays debuted at the 60 Million Plus Theatre’s Spring Playwright’s festival. Indigo teaches at the Stonecoast MFA Program, where he graduated in 2012 with an MFA in poetry, fiction, and scriptwriting.

Linda Scheller is a poet, playwright, actor, and teacher living in California's Central Valley. Her writing has been widely published in journals and anthologies including Notre Dame Review, Seattle Review, Poem, The Distillery, and More Than Soil, More Than Sky. As a founding board member of the Modesto Stanislaus Poetry Center, she teaches poetry workshops and promotes poetry in the region. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of her two adult children as well as singing in the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Choir.

Gerry Pineda holds a BM in Jazz Studies and a MM in Double Bass performance from California State University Sacramento.  He has received two critic’s choice Sammie awards for best Sacramento Bassist. Gerry teaches at University of the Pacific and California State University Sacramento. His career includes performances with notable jazz artists Nick Fryer, Joe Gilman, Eddie Harris, Brian Kendrick, Patrick Langham, Geof Keezer, Joe Mazzaferro, TIm Reis, Simon Rowe, Greg Tardy, and Ernie Watts.
